Completed in 2021, Alpha Energy designed, procured, and built a microgrid comprised of a 2MW pile driven ground mount PV system, 10.5MWh of battery storage, and 1,000KW backup diesel generation capability. The microgrid will power multiple properties, homesites and a water well. In addition to being the general contractor, our team worked with the engineers to design-build the distribution for the microgrid and oversaw medium voltage transmission.
